It rained on Monday. We went to get our AP Language books. The message: let nothing stop you on your path to education.
It delighted me how Mr.Z took us to get our books on a rainy day simply due to the fact that it was raining. If it was any other teacher, we probably would have delayed getting the books for another day or week, but our class isn’t like the normal ones. We let nothing stop us from acquiring knowledge, be it the rain or even a storm brewing.
I think that’s what defines us as AP Language students. We aren’t as fearful of venturing into the world of education, rather than sticking to the modern conventions. This all relates back to John Barry’s comparison of scientists to pioneers of the frontier. We are the scientists, delving into a new plethora of education and exploring new thoughts, concepts, and ideas.
